As you know my mother knocked off my side mirror (it is currently held on by epoxy and duct tape) and the car has now been ghetto-ized. I price checked repairs and it is going to tage me about $350-$400 dollars (holy crap). The 'rent *might* reemburse me for the cost.

I was wondering if anyone out there could or knew anyone who could attach a new used mirror or maybe even find me one cheaper. It is slightly motarized but nothing to fancy. Car is a 1994 Olds Eighty-eight (white) <-though I am not picky. I just need a mirror that moves.

Junk yard should have one. If you can attach it will be lot cheaper than new.

Be well,
King

Do you have car insurance? Check with your car insurance and see if they can cover it first. When the mirror came off my car I had it covered and paid a $50 deductible.

i was just going to recommend that.

granted if a NORMAL person breaks your car, they'd take responsibility for their mistake and fix it. but that's NORMAL people.

if she reports it to her insurance won't her premiums go up for like 4 years and cost more than a new mirror?

You would not believe the things people have given away and received from this group -- for free. It's worth asking around there, also it's about 2400 members now and they have connections!
