Now that I have completely lost all will to eat: thanks to
strangemodegirl and her tale of bugs. EEEWWWW. It sure sucks sometimes to have great visualzation skills. Also
alibe thanks for the chime in... I need to spot MORE spiders in my life :)
All in all... life is kinda sucky.
I had a good b-day weekend; even volunteering to help out
alyska and
jeffreyp move in the heat and hitting the art fair. There were only a few things I lusted after - most of it was so out of my $$$ range that I just ignored it. The other things I liked... I realized I could make for less money than it would cost to buy it.
Good lunch with my best girlfriends at ChiChi's. Must have drinks in the middle of the day more often.
Yesterday at about 4pm I started having a bad allergy attack - sneezing till I saw stars... then I realized I was completely out of meds (and no car to go anywhere). I tried my back-up plan (lots of caffine and chocolate) which usually help - not a dent this time). I had a miserable night and didn't get to the store till about 10am. Trust me - 18 hours into an allergy attack is NOT the time to take an antihistimine (I was so damn loopy - I couldn't walk straight, couldn't focus, and was slurring my words for almost 7 hours after that.)
Learned that I am failing my summer chem class. Damn. I was given the "work harder or drop" talk today and made the decision to make it happen. There are enough points left in the class for me to still pull a C or even maybe a BC. I just have to work my ass off and get J to start doing more around the house so I have time to do my work in. I can not belive that I am actually stupid enough to fail Chem 103 (though being out of school for five years sure makes you SLOWER). The prof knows all about my 'situation' and is more than eager to help me learn it... I just got only four weeks left to do it in.
Daydreamed a little about the small retail property on Univeristy (by Brothers- used to be a tiny games shop) It is really really small (I think my bedroom is bigger but the lease is under $600 a month and comes with a parking space. Let myself daydream about going in on it with some other crafty people and making it work.
Conteplated my bruises....
... complete mystery. They showed up last friday and I would think I should remember where I got them. Grr... bad memory of injuries.
Blah Blah Blah. Just got out of a shower so hot that my skin is still lobster pink. I am off to cozy up in my PJ's and watch "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil" - though it is a much better book, the movie has John Cusack who is very yummy. Relax time.
