(no subject)

This is the perky entry that has nothing to do with how I feel right now.

My parents have (threatened) to give me a car. This is a avery tricky subject because my parents tend to 'take things away' and also be a little strange when it comes to straight out gifts - there is usually a catch (or twenty). This comes at very odd timing since we were all in the process of buying [livejournal.com profile] greydancer's van. Grr.. but I can not guarantee my parent's gift and no matter what - I do not go back on a deal. We are still buying the van as planned but now seem to have a choice to a possible secondary car (that might replace my Focus).

So if you were to be given a car - which would you choose:

Ok, I know you really love the truck. But the olds seems a bit more practical. It's newer and has fewer miles, so it will hopefully last longer. It would give you each a car that could handle the kids so you wouldn't have to worry about who has the "kid" car. Also, it almost certainly gets better gas mileage.

Sorry!

I agree with Kate. Plus, it's not good when your mother gives you stuff cuz then she uses it against you.
If you want two new cars, though, that would rock.
However, I think that the newer car with the lower mileage is going to last you longer. I mean you do a lot of driving. The Ranger may die soon. I would go with the olds.
