1. What did you do in 2004 that you'd never done before?
I decided to trust completely in the people I call my friends and not included my family in that
I cleaned up the many messy parts of my life

2. Did you keep your new year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I never make them… and therefore never keep them

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Yes… the [livejournal.com profile] babysnakes were born as was my newest second cousin

4. Did anyone close to you die?
Thankfully no.

5. What countries did you visit?
None. I actually loved staying home this year

6. What would you like to have in 2005 that you lacked in 2004?
The ability to relax more and realize that sometime being lazy is the best thing to be

7. What date from 2004 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
April 7th, 2004 – Skeeter was diagnosed with Leukemia
October 2nd, 2002 – Meet many people including [livejournal.com profile] drakenfly & [livejournal.com profile] obafugakum that made me decide to go after everything I really wanted in life.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Surviving

9. What was your biggest failure?
Managing to make the same mistake twice with J and waiting far to long to correct it.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Personally not really, though my ‘disease’ has been acting up because of the stress but my family has suffered with many things.

11. What was the best thing you bought?
My digital camera… I needed it..

12. Whose behaviour merited celebration?
Many many of my friends who went above and beyond to help me/ be there for me/ and love me.

13. Whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed?
I'm not appalled or depressed at anyone’s behavior… though a few people have forced me to say good bye to them because of their actions.

14. Where did most of your money go?
Kids and rent

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Oh gosh… I get really really excited about so much. Probably the most excitement was for Skeeter to hit LTM.

16. What song will always remind you of 2004?
Breaking the Habit – Linkin’ Park

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. happier or sadder? Happier
ii. thinner or fatter? The same… it never really changes
iii. richer or poorer? The same… it never really changes

18. What do you wish you'd done more?
Reached out more to others early on…

19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Crying

20. How will you be spending Christmas?
At home with my pseudo-family.

21. Did you fall in love in 2004?
In love … no, not really yet. But I have fallen into something wonderful.

22. How many one-night stands?
One.

23. What was your favourite TV program?
Desperate Housewives and Bleach

24. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Yes. But it is petty and I should put it behind me (I am trying)

25. What was the best book you read?
"Living with Childhood Cancer – How to make life livable" – it saved my sanity very early on.

26. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Anime Soundtracks

27. What did you want and get?
I wanted nothing but got so much more.

28. What was your favourite film of this year?
Love Actually

29. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I turned 26 and honestly…nothing really (moved someone else) and went to the art fair.

30. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
A little more human contact and some card/letters from family when Skeeter was so sick. Being ignored made me very angry and heart broken.

31. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2004?
Laid-back-slacker-student with no money. Yay! For comfy clothes.

32. What kept you sane?
LJ and my friends.

33. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Vin Diesel – wow… hot.

34. What political issue stirred you the most?
Gay marriage… grrr, fucking republicans.

35. Who did you miss?
TBND – though that has been remedied… we have to be only friends though, and I am okay with that.

36. Who was the best new person you met?
So many – too many to name and I think that they all know who they are.

37. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2004:
You always get back three time more than you give out…. Keep giving out because it makes you happy and happier.
